The Royals welcome highflying Cardiff to the Madejski Stadium looking for the first home win since January.
If we're going to compete in this league we have to win at home, it's as simple as that and I'm sure it will come soon.
The Royals could welcome back club captain Ivar Ingimarsson from an 8 month injury lay off after he came through 2 reserve games with no problems. Darren O'Dea has an injured hand but it won't keep him out and Shane Long could also return after missing the draw with Doncaster. Jobi McAnuff still has a back injury and isn't in contention.
The Australian goalkeeper scored in this fixture last season and has began life as Reading number 1 with few troubles. He will have to be on top of his game against hot shot striker Michael Chopra.
Kelvin Etuhu injured ankle ligaments in the defeat to Newcastle on Sunday and will be out for 6-8 weeks and he joins Ross McCormack who is already on the sidelines with a hamstring problem. Kevin McNaughton and Ricardo Scimeca are also out.
Has started the season in fine form and cannot stop scoring, and his celebrations haven't been bad either! He scored at the Madejski Stadium last season and will be keen to add to his tally in this fixture.
The Royals were knocked out of the FA Cup at Ninian Park back in January going down 2-0 thanks to goals from McCormack and Ledley.
This will be our hardest home game so far this season and cheered on by a top travelling support I think we will lose, 0-2.
