Preston (A) Match Preview

The Royals make the long trip North to Preston in search of a much needed three points.

Vital Quotes:

They're all tough games and Preston is notoriously a tough place for any club, but we go there with great motivation to win.

Preston Team News:

Paul Parry is sidelined with a hamstring tear and the home side will also have to do without Scottish pair Callum Davidson and Barry Nicholson.

Player to watch: Ross Wallace

Left winger Wallace is a set piece specialist and has pace in abundance, he will give Shaun Cummings a tough evening.

Reading Team News:

Ivar Ingimarsson's condition will be assessed before the team is named after he made his long awaited comeback against Watford. Matt Mills stands by, as Alex Pearce misses the trip as he is being rested.

Player to watch: Jobi McAnuff

Had an excellent debut on Saturday and will look to continue that on Tuesday evening, and hopefully lay on a couple of goals to give the Royals an away win.

Match Facts & Stats

The teams played out a goalless draw back in February with Jon Parkin going closest to scoring with a late header.

Match Prediction:

This is one of the hardest away games in the Championship, and we rarely get a decent result at Deepdale. I'm afraid that is likely to continue, Preston 2-0 Royals.
