After a win on the road last weekend, it's time to try once more to end the winless home run, against Roy Keane's Ipswich. A full match preview is here.....
This home run is not going to go on forever. The run will end, we hope it's on Saturday.
Brendan Rodgers is set to keep faith with the same side that beat Coventry last weekend, meaning the fit again Jimmy Kebe will have to make do with a place on the bench. Matt Mills will again miss out with a knee injury whilst Noel Hunt, Chris Armstrong and Julian Kelly are long term absentees.
Has forced his way back into the team in recent games and will be sure to give Liam Rosenior a tough afternoon.
Tommy Smith and Gareth McAuley are injured so Alex Bruce will deputise at the back. Liam Rosenior can play against his parent club and will be keen to prove a point on his return to the Madejski Stadium.
Has hit out at the club this week over his departure back in the summer and is desperate to prove that he is a better player than Royals fans gave him credit for in his time at the Madejski Stadium.
Ipswich travelled back to the Madejski Stadium in March and secured a 1-0 win thanks to a fine goal from Jon Stead.
I'm really feeling confident about this game and am sure the home run will come to an end. Royals 4-0 Ipswich!
