Brendan Rodgers is set to keep the same starting 11 that drew with Ipswich last time out, but Shane Long has failed to recover from a ankle injury and won't be fit enough to take his place on the bench. Apart from the Irishman's knock, there are no new injury concerns.

Player to watch: Jobi McAnuff

McAnuff has praised the fitness work that Brendan Rodgers has put them through during the international break and he should be fit to tear the Blackpool defence to pieces!

Hamuer Bouazza is with the Algerian national squad celebrating their World Cup qualification, so former Watford player Al Bangura could start. Brett Ormerod and Jason Euell are pushing for starts but apart Bouazza, manager Ian Holloway is unlikely to make changes from the side that beat Scunthorpe last time out.

Player to watch: Charlie Adam

Former Rangers man Adam has been one of the Championship players of the season so far following his summer move from Ibrox. His passing ability and long range shooting is sure to cause the Royals the biggest threat on Saturday.
