On the back of a fine recent run of results, the Royals head to Pride Park full of confidence to face Derby. A full match preview is here...
We don't want to get carried away just because we won a home game!
Defender Dean Moxey is set to be rested with Jay McEveley set to take his place on the left hand side. Stephen Pearson is struggling with a groin injury and could miss out again.
Nigel Clough is building a young side but one of his top performers so far this season has been midfield veteran Robbie Savage.
Simon Church is set to make an unexpected recovery from a hip injury tht forced him off against Blackpool, but he is only set for a place on the bench with Grzegorz Rasiak set to take his place. Shane Long and Chris Armstrong are set to return to the bench after injury lay off's, after both coming through a midweek reserve game with no ill effects.
After signing a new contract this week, Sigurdsson will be looking to build on his fine recent displays and goal against Blackpool last weekend.
The Royals completed a double over the Rams last season with a 2-0 win at Pride Park on 21st April, thanks to goals from Dave Kitson and Shane Long.
We are playing really well at the moment and I can't see us losing here, infact I can't see anything but a Reading win. 2-0
