After the FA cup heroics against Liverpool 10 days ago at Anfield, we now meet Burnley in a very winable home tie in the fourth round of the worlds oldest cup competition. A full match preview is here....
Brian McDermott - 'Were looking forward to it, its another Premier League team and I'm sure it will be a cracking atmosphere.'
Gylfi Sigurdsson - 'It's a great competition and everyone wants to go as far as they can.'
Matt Mills - 'It's an opportunity to play a premier league side. We go into the game confident, play with no fear and hopefully get a result.'
Midfielder Marek Matejovsky is out and is likely to be missing for a few more weeks with an abdominal injury. Gylfi Sigurdsson is back though and will take his place in the side, and he will be joined by Gunnar Thorvaldsson and Andy Griffin who are eligible to play.
Defender Mills has established himself in the side under Brian McDermott and has spoken this week of his desire to 'impress the fans'.
Chris McCann, Clarke Carlisle, Jay Rodriquez and Martin Paterson could all return from injury, whilst Steven Fletcher is set to recover from an injury picked up at Old Trafford last weekend.
Former Man Utd winger has established himself in the Burnley side, after often spending spells on the bench earlier in the season. He will be keen to make a positive impression under new manager Brian Laws.
Reading 0-2 Burnley 12th May 2009. Madejski Stadium
Mike Jones will take charge of the game.
I think this will be a close game and with our record of draws in the FA cup, a replay is a good bet! 1-1
