Leicester (A) Match Preview

The Royals return to the stadium where we clinched promotion to the Premier League back in 2006, almost to the day. Things are a lot different now with Brian McDermott's side sat in mid table in the Championship, but still dreaming off the play offs.

The home side have an even better chance of getting in the end of season lottery and Nigel Pearson has rebuilt the Foxes and got them dreaming of the Premiership again.

A full match preview is here...

Vital Quotes:

Royals manager Brian McDermott -

'There's never an easy game in the Championship, and there never will be! I'm looking forward to it, there will be a big crowd and we will see if we can win it.'

Leicester Team News:

Star striker Matty Fryatt is out injured, as are long term injury victims Stephen Clemence and Aleksander Tunchev.

Bruno Bernar is a doubt, as is on loan striker James Vaughan but another loanee Jay Spearing is set to go straight into the Foxes side.

Player to watch: Andy King

The midfielder scored twice at the weekend against Coventry and is an excellent midfielder at this level. Will be keen to continue his goalscoring form.

Reading Team News:

Ivar Ingimarsson faces a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury so Zurab Kizhanishvili will come into the starting 11, meaning Matt Mills will captain the side.

Brian McDermott has no new injury concerns and is set to keep the remainder of the side the same that drew at Middlesbrough.

Player to watch: Shane Long

Irish striker has banged in 7 goals in 9 games, and recently celebrated becoming a father. He will be keen to cap that with a goal on Wednesday night.

Last Meeting

Monday 26th October 2009, Reading 0-1 Leicester

Match Prediction:

This is going to be another tought game but we have proved we can do it on the road again after the Middlesbrough draw at the weekend. With the extra days rest we will be the fresher side and I can see this one being a draw, another good point. 1-1

Next Fixture:

Saturday 27th March 2010, West Brom (H)
