Watford (A) Match Preview

The Royals will look to bounce back from Scunthorpe's late comeback on Tuesday night, when they travel to Watford on Saturday. The Hornets are one of three sides that can still get relegated and will be desperate to win, but Brian McDermott will not let his side stop performing despite our season being over. A full match preview is here....

Vital Quotes:

Royals midfielder Jay Tabb -

'The fans are still paying their money to come and watch us at Watford so we owe it to them and ourselves to put in a good performance and finish the season as strongly as possible.'

Brian McDermott -

'We want to bounce back from Scunthorpe, it was one game we should have won and now we want to win this one.'

Watford Team News:

Jay De Merit and Don Cowie are injury doubts ahead of the Royals visit, both will have late fitness tests. Will Buckley will also be missing however Lloyd Doyley will return.

Player to watch: Danny Graham

The striker signed from Carlisle has had a decent first season with the Hornets, and scored against the Royals in September.

Reading Team News:

Matt Mills could come straight back into the side following the completion of his suspension so Alex Pearce is sweating on his place. James Henry picked up a knock in the reserves 3-1 win in midweek so could miss out on a place on the bench and Ivar Ingimarsson, Marek Matejovsky and Noel Hunt remain injured and will miss the rest of the season.

Player to watch: Jobi McAnuff

Is sure to get some stick from the home fans for being an ex Watford player, so will be keen to get one over on them.

Match Facts & Stats

26th September 2009, Reading 1-1 Watford.

Match Prediction:

Watford's last home game, with them still in relegation trouble, is sure to be difficult however we have more then enough to win this game. Watford 1-3 Reading
