QPR (A) Match Preview

After two excellent wins in a row against Burnley, and last weekend, against Doncaster, we travel to unbeaten QPR on Saturday.

Neil Warnocks side have not lost in the league so far this season but one glimmer of hope for the Royals is the fact they have drawn the last four games.

A full match preview is here...

Vital Quotes:

Right back Andy Griffin -

'With the form we`re in, we`re going to QPR not frightened of playing. We went to Burnley and won 4-0 and that is the belief and confidence you have to instil.'

Zurab Kizhanishvili-

'The biggest two games are coming up against Queens Park Rangers and then Cardiff on Wednesday, but we could get six points and then struggle against Norwich.'

QPR Team News:

Akos Buzsaky has been ruled out for 5 weeks so will miss the game against the Royals, and QPR are also likely to be without Heider Helguson who has a shoulder complaint.

Rob Hulse should start in his place and Tommy Smith, who almost joined Reading last summer, will start on the left in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Player to watch: Adel Taarabt

The R's captain has been influential so far this season, and playing in the role off the striker he is sure to cause plenty of problems for the Royals defence.

Reading Team News:

Jimmy Kebe will again miss out with a knee injury as Brian McDermott waits for his injury to heal properly before rushing him back, with some important games coming up. Hal Robson Kanu is under pressure from Michail Antonio to take his place.

Brynjar Gunnarsson is still out with a hamstring injury so Jay Tabb will continue alongside Brian Howard and Jem Karacan in midfield.

Player to watch: Shane Long

Signed a new contract this week but is under pressure from Simon Church and Noel Hunt for his starting place. Needs to start scoring some goals and what better place to start than at Loftus Road?

Last Meeting

Saturday 16th March 2010, Reading 1-0 QPR

Ref Watch:

Premiership ref Steve Tanner will take charge of this one.

Match Prediction:

2 teams intent on attacking, it must have 0-0 written all over it! I would settle for that.

Next Fixture:

Wednesday 10th November 2010, Cardiff (H)
