Norwich (H) Match Preview

The Canaries are sat in 5th place in the league at the moment, in a tight Championship table, but a win will see us go above them and most likely into the play off places.

Vital Quotes:

Brian McDermott -

'We`re in better shape now than we were, both in terms of points and psychologically. We didn`t do ourselves justice on Saturday against QPR, but we did against Cardiff. We`ve given our supporters something to shout about too.'

Noel Hunt -

'I had tickets for the Haye versus Harrison fight and was going to go with my brother but I`ve had to sack it off because of the game. I think we`re going to chill out at one of the boys` house and watch it as I won`t be able to make it.'

Reading Team News:

The Royals will again be without Jimmy Kebe and Brynjar Gunnarsson who are still struggling with knee and hamstring injuries.

Noel Hunt will start after scoring against Cardiff, as will Simon Church and Shane Long.

Likely line up -

Federici

Griffin Mills Kizhanishvili Harte

Howard Karacan

McAnuff Church Hunt

Long

Player to watch: Simon Church

Has struggled to hold down a regular starting place in the Royals first 11, but was restored to the team against Cardiff and responed with a decent display and an assist for Hunt's goal. Will need to keep performing to keep his place.

Norwich Team News:

Norwich will be without Stephen Smith and Adam Drury, who Simon Lappin will continue at left back.

Andrew Crofts returns after missing the Millwall game in midweek through suspension.

Likely line up -

Ruddy

R Martin Ward Barnett Lappin

Player to watch: Grant Holt

Striker has not been as prolific as he was last season in front of goal with only three league goals so far. He will be keen to get on the scoresheet on Saturday evening

Last Meeting

27th April 2009, Norwich 0-2 Reading

Match Prediction:

I'm feeling confident going into this game and I reckon we are going to win an exciting game. Reading 2-1 Norwich
