The Royals will look to build on a spirited second half display against Norwich last weekend, when we travel to Watford on Saturday.
We were easily beaten in this fixture last season and we will be looking to get back to winning ways after 2 draws in a row, against Cardiff and Norwich.
A full match preview is here...
Assistant manager Nigel Gibbs -
'It`s always good going back to Watford, but it`s coming up to my fifth year at Reading now and my loyalties are definitely with them.'
Former Watford player Jobi McAnuff -
'We need to be more compact as a team and a few of those goals last week might have been due to individuals, so if we can irradiate that we should be able to keep a clean-sheet.'
Watford will be without John Eustace who is suspended after picking up his 5th booking of the season, so Ross Jenkins and Josh Walker are in contention to replace him.
Former Carlisle striker Danny Graham has been in fine form for the Hornets this season, scoring 7 league goals. He will look to add to that on Saturday.
The Royals will welcome back Jimmy Kebe from a knee injury but it remains to be seen whether he comes straight back into the team.
Icelandic duo Ivar Ingimarsson and Brynjar Gunnarsson are both injured and will miss the game, with no timescale put on their returns.
Left back Harte has made a habit of popping up with a goal for the Royals, but is also responsible for a number of goals conceded of late so will be looking to tighten up his defensive performances if he is to stay in the side.
Saturday April 24th 2010, Watford 3-0 Reading
Despite Watford's lack of form, this will be a tough game against a team in a similar situation to ourselves - play off hopefuls. I can see us snatching a draw 1-1
