Leeds (H) Match Preview

It's three draws on the spin for the Royals and we will look to put an end to that run and pick up three points against Leeds on Saturday.

The game is expected to attract a full house at the Madejski Stadium, and the visiting supporters will travel in good numbers, so a good atmosphere is expected.

A full match preview is here....

Vital Quotes:

Zurab Kizhanishvili-

"We`re looking forward to winning at home after a few draws. We respect Leeds as they have good players and are in the top six.'

Mikele Leigertwood -

'I`m looking forward to the Leeds game and being involved. The Madejski Stadium is a great ground and it would be a nice place to make my debut.'

Reading Team News:

The Royals will be without Matt Mills who is suspended after picking up his 5th booking of the season last weekend against Watford. Zurab Kizhanishvili is sure to come in to take his place, whilst Mikele Leigertwood is likely to make his debut in midfield.

Jay Tabb and Ian Harte have overcome knocks picked up at Vicarage Road, but Brian Howard could miss the game with a hamstring injury.

Player to watch: Mikele Leigertwood

Royals fans have been crying out for a new striker, but got a defensive midfielder instead! Leigertwood is likely to make his debut in midfield and will be keen to make a good impression.

Leeds Team News:

Richard Naylor, the Leeds captain, is out for 6 weeks after undergoing a knee operation this week so will miss the trip to Berkshire.

Patrick Kisnorbo is the only other absentee for the visitors though.

Player to watch: Luciano Becchio

Striker is in a rich vain of goalscoring form at the moment and will be the away sides biggest threat to the Royals goal.

Last Meeting

Saturday 15th April 2006, Leeds 1-1 Reading

Match Prediction:

A full house at the Madejski Stadium is a rarity these days and the Royals will hope they can rise to the challenge. I expect us to get back to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 win.

Next Fixture:

Saturday 4th December 2010, Sheffield Utd (A)
