Reading return home on the back of a fine comeback victory against struggling Ipswich while Peterborough travel down south to the Madejski Stadium after a credible draw with promotion contenders Middlesbrough
Reading boss Brian McDermott: ''Only Southampton have scored more goals than Peterborough this season, Darren Ferguson has done a great job since going back there and it's another game at Madejski for us to look forward to.'
Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson: 'Reading are a good side and they will be full of confidence after the win they got at Ipswich. It is another difficult trip for us, but one we are looking forward to.'
Reading defender Joseph Mills is still likely to be out of tonight's game but even if fit, McDermott is expected to start with Ian Harte. Midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson is still injured while centre-back Bongani Khumalo is back in training but unlikely to make the squad.
The dead-ball specialist is back in the team following Joe Mills' injury and got himself two assists against Ipswich, with a decent defensive performance.
Posh have doubts over right back Mark Little who has a groin problem picked up last weekend. It is expected Emile Sinclair will start up front after impressing as a substitute against Middlesbrough.
The former non-league striker has made a big impression so far at Posh, scoring 6 goals is 17 appearances. Scored at weekend against Middlesbrough.
Peterborough aren't particularly consistant, like ourselves, so this game could go either way. I'm going for us to sneak a 2-1 win.
