Reading return home to the Madejski Stadium on the back of a 1-0 loss to Blackpool, as they face West Ham, who themselves suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to the hands of Burnley last week
Reading manager Brian McDermott - 'It's a big game, the type everyone wants to play in. You can't beat that, there will be a great atmosphere, West Ham will make a great noise and so will we. Let's hope we get off to a good start and get the right performance.'
Captain Jobi McAnuff has returned from a one game suspension, while Joe Mills is back in contention for the left back spot. Striker Noel Hunt is now fully fit after picking up a knock to his head against Peterborough.
The Australian international has been one of the Royals' most consistent performers this season and is sure to be tested tomorrow by the Hammers' strong attack.
West Ham are likely to be without left-footed maestro Matty Taylor who has an injury. Striker Sam Baldock and Winston Reid are definitely out.
The Hammers' talisman made a shock move to West Ham last summer but has lived up to his tag of a top player by leading West Ham to second place with some superb midfield performances
West Ham are a very strong team with a top away record so I could see us slipping up on this one. 2-0 loss.
