Its a promotion contenders clash at the Madejski Stadium, as Reading return home on the back of a 2-1 win at Watford, while Hull also won against Peterborough. Both sides are on equal points this season, with the Royals edging fifth place on goal difference.
Reading boss Brian McDermott - 'The most important thing is that the players put out there all perform. A good friend of mine said to me about two weeks ago, 'You`ve done well with injuries,` and I just told him to stop talking now we`ve got a few injuries."
Hull manager Nicky Barmby - 'Reading are doing what they seem to do every year in terms of they started a little bit slowly but the manager then gets them going, as they showed last season when they got to the play-offs.'
The Royals having piling injury problems, with duo Jobi McAnuff and Mikele Leigertwood out injured, while Jimmy Kebe is a big doubt with a persisting knee problem. Defender Andy Griffin will again be out, as will striker Mathieu Manset who has a hamstring problem.
The prolific forward found the net for the first time in 14 games against Watford and will now be keen to add even more goals to this seasons tally.
New manager Nicky Barmby doesn't have any new injury problems, despite Robert Koren who has a dead leg but is almost certain to play.
The former West Brom midfielder has been a hit at the KC Stadium, scoring an impressive 16 goals in his Tigers career so far, with eight of them coming this season.

It will be a tough game with two sides on a decent run of form. I'd happily take a 1-1 draw.
