After some early weather concerns to whether this fixture will go ahead, it seems the pitch has passed the test and as it stands will go ahead. Doncaster have seen a mini-revival under Dean Saunders, while Reading are fighting to earn back a play-off place.
Doncaster boss Dean Saunders - 'Reading have got a lot of Premier League level players on their book and we know it's going to be tough because they play with a high tempo with two wide men. Jason Roberts in particular is a really good player but, I don't know how they're going to stop us to be honest - that's how I'm going in to the game.'
Reading manager Brian McDermott - 'This month we've brought established players in. Jason Roberts is a big name, he's got stature on and off the pitch. You could see what he gave to the team last week, we were really pleased - myself, the staff and the players - to have him here.'
Defender Habib Beye is still serving his suspension after picking up a red card a few weeks ago. Talisman James Coppinger has broken his cheekbone and will definitely be out.
The former Bolton and Blackburn player is keen to make an impression after extending his contract until the end of the season. Clear that he still has the ability to play at the top level.
Reading will still be without midfielder Mikele Leigertwood who still has a thigh problem. They will also wait on the fitness of Jimmy Kebe who has a knee problem.
Had a fantastic debut against Bristol City last week and will be keen to add to his early tally.
Reading 2 - 0 Doncaster
Church (52) Le Fondre (59)
It will be a tougher game than the reverse fixture but morale seems high at Reading, sneak a 2-1 win.
