After losing their eight game losing streak in their 1-1 draw with Doncaster on Tuesday night, Reading play up north again as they play a struggling Barnsley side. The Tykes have now won in their last five games, losing four of those five.
Barnsley manager Keith Hill - 'There's a reason why they're [Reading] second in the league now and they're in great form, they're winning football matches and confidence is high. They've got a squad that's been built to cater for the needs of the Championship.
Reading boss Brian McDermott - 'I know their manager well, he's done a fabulous job at Rochdale and Barnsley. They've got players who can hurt you, Davies up front has scored goals and they pass it well, it's a game to look forward to.'
Goalkeeper David Preece is out for the rest of the season with a broken wrist, while David Perkins, Bobby Hassell and Jacob Butterfield all have knew problems.
The former Chesterfield striker, who was a target of the Royals before he signed for the Tykes, has a had a decent season for Keith Hill. He is a forward that carries a decent amount of power and pace.
Reading could name Jimmy Kebe on the bench for tomorrow's game as he has returned to training following his knee injury, but may not be risked. Defender Matt Connolly is set for rehab to recover from his ankle injury picked up two weeks ago against Millwall.
The Royals captain is starting to find some form in recent games and looks very comfortable on his unpreffered right side.
Reading 1 - 2 Barnsley
Foster (27) Done (68) Robson-Kanu (pen 74)
Barnsley aren't in the best run of form at the moment and Reading will be keen to get back to winning ways. 2-0 win.
Barnsley - Crystal Palace (A) - Tuesday 20th March - nPower Championship
Reading - Peterborough (A) - Tuesday 20th March - nPower Championship
