McAnuff was signed by Brendan Rodgers in the summer transfer window 2009 after experience with a number of Championship clubs including Crystal Palace, Cardiff and Watford who we signed him from.

Started his career at Wimbledon and scored a last minute winner for them at the Madejski Stadium in 2002.

McAnuff had a successful 2010/11 season, chipping in with 5 goals and 11 assists. To this day he is still recognised as one of the most experienced wingers in the Championship.

Following the departure of Ivar Ingimarsson in 2010, Jobi was appointed the captain of Reading FC by former manager Brian McDermott. He then retained the armband under new boss Nigel Adkins.
