The former taxi driver from Eastleigh was given a chance by Reading, offering him a 1 and a half year deal in January 2011 after agreeing a fee with Eastleigh.

At the start of the 2010/11 season with Eastleigh, he scored 8 goals in 14 starts for the Blue Square conference outfit, which promoted Nicky Hammond to strike a deal.

He has not yet made a first team appearance for the Royals but was on the bench for the league game against Milwall and has put in a number of solid performances for the reserves.
