The Swindon-born left sided player started his career at Southampton, where he made just 28 appearances in three years but did win the Football League trophy in the process.

He then had loan spells at Championship sides Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers before joining Reading in 2011, for an undislosed fee, signing a one-year deal with a possible extension.

Mills can play anywhere across the left and has England Youth experience and is also the brother of former Royals captain Matt Mills.
