'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Easy Like Monday Morning!

Well, Saturday was unacceptable - simple as that. Ok I know it was the first game this season where we had nothing to play for after our play off hopes were ended at Scunthorpe on Tuesday but with the biggest travelling support of the season I expected a lot better. No one came out of the game covered in glory, hence why I couldn`t pick a star man in the match report, although Adam Federici did ok looking back.

Also, I always forget what a sh*thole Vicarage Road is, if the performance wasn`t bad enough I had to contend with a leaking roof that dripped, what I hope was water, on me every five minutes, the worlds narrowest concourse that doesn`t serve beer and rubbish stewards. At least the sun was shining I suppose!

One game left now against Preston on Sunday and I would like to see McDermott pick a side that includes the likes of Hal Robson Kanu, James Henry (if fit) and Jem Karacan. There is nothing to play for, for either side, so why not build towards next season and give these some game time.

Finally don`t forget to vote for your Vital Reading player of the season, Gylfi Sigurdsson is leading at the moment but the likes of Ryan Bertrand are still in the running so every vote counts!
