'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Championship 2011/12 - Barnsley

Club - Barnsley

Founded - 1887

Nickname - The Tykes

Ground - Oakwell (Capacity: 23,009)

Manager - Keith Hill

When we face each other? - Sat 20th August (H) Sat 17th March (A)

Last season finish - 17th - Championship

Season Preview - Barnsley have had not had much to shout about over the past fews years following their promotion from League One in 2005, with mainly lower mid-table finishes and often shift of managers.

After the resignation of Mark Robins, they have appointed Keith Hill after a fine 5-year spell with Rochdale that saw them promoted to League One in 2010.

Unfortunaely, I believe it may be another stuggling season for the Tykes unless they really delve into the market, as they have no real stand out players that can change a game.

My Prediction - 20th
