The Championship 2011/12 - Coventry City

Club - Coventry City

Founded - 1883

Nickname - Sky Blues

Ground - Ricoh Arena (Capacity: 32,609)

Manager - Andy Thorn

When we face each other? - Sat 24th September (A) Sat 11th February (H)

Last Season Finish - 18th - Championship

Season Preview - Since the 1970s, Coventry were a recognised Premier League side until their relegation in 2001.

They have since spent 10 years in the Championship not making any particular progress and only just avoiding relegation in 2008. They did however move into their brand new 32,609 capacity stadium the Richoh Arena in 2005.

I believe the loss of Marlon King, Keiran Westwood and Aron Gunnarsson could prove costly for the Sky Blues, as it now leaves the club without a natural goalscorer, lack of creativity in the midfield and a good goalkeeper. I think they have enough to stay in the division but they do need to replace those key names to have any sort of a challenge this season.

My Prediction - 17th
