The Championship 2011/12 - Crystal Palace
Club - Crystal Place

Founded - 1905

Nickname - The Eagles

Ground - Selhurst Park (Capacity: 26,309)

Manager - Dougie Freedman

When we face each other? - Sat 29th October (A) Sat 21st April (H)

Last Season Finish - 20th

Season Preview - The Eagles have spent the past 20 years yo-yoing between the Premier League and Championship but their last spell in the top division was in the 2004/05 season.

They only just avoided relegation in the 2009/10 season, surviving on the last day with a 2-2 draw against Sheff Wednesday. The following season they flirted with the relegation zone but managed to avoid it again under the reigns of club legend Dougie Freedman.

I believe it is crucial that Palace keep a hold of Darren Ambrose and Julion Speroni as they are crucial both ends of the pitch for the Eagles. They do have enough to stay in the division but would really need to delve into the market to have any sort of challenge for a higher position.

My Prediction - 21st

Reading outclassed by Preston

Reading's last home game of the season ended with defeat and made it 3 home defeats in a row.

Preston came to the Mad Stad and simply were the better side and should've won by more.
