The Championship 2011/12 - Derby County

Club - Derby County

Founded - 1884

Nickname - The Rams

Ground - Pride Park (Capacity: 33,597)

Manager - Nigel Clough

When we face each other? - Tues 18th October (H) Tues 14th February (A)

Last Season Finish - 19th - Championship

Season Preview - From 1996 to 2002, Derby had a solid spell in the Premier League. However, they had to wait another 5 years to get back into the top division, through victory in the 2007 play-off final.

However, the 2007/08 season was the worst in their history and the worst in Premier League history for that matter. They accumulated just 11 points with only 1 win.

Nigel Clough has come under pressure many times in his Derby managerial career but it isn't the easiest job with funds not particularly available and few players with the flair needed to get them up the division.

My Prediction - 18th
