The Championship 2011/12 - Ipswich

Club - Ipswich Town

Founded - 1878

Nickname - The Tractor Boys

Ground - Portman Road (Capacity: 30,311)

Manager - Paul Jewell

When we face each other? - Sat 26th November (A) Sat 31st December (H)

Last Season Finish - 13th - Championship

Season Preview - Ipswich have spent the last 9 years in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League in 2002, due to financial problems.

They failed to gain promotion back despite coming close on many occasions but have failed to do so in recent years.

Paul Jewell has made some very shrewd signings and with a few more could definitely battle for a play-off place but at the moment I feel they need a little bit more defensive cover to get there.

My Prediction - 9th
