The Championship 2011/12 - Nottingham Forest

Club - Nottingham Forest

Founded - 1865

Nickname - The Reds

Ground - City Ground (Capacity: 30,576)

Manager - Steve McClaren

When we face each other? - Tues 1st November (A) Tues 17th April (H)

Last Season Finish - 6th - Championship

Season Preview - Nottingham Forest can be seen as one of the most successful British sides in history, enduring their best reign under the legend that is Brian Clough, winning 2 European cups in his reign.

In the past 10 years, Forest have had a fall from fate as it has been spent mostly in the Championship, with a relegation to League One in 2005 but did return in 2008. They survived the following season, with the next 2 season faltering in the play-offs.

Having such a successful manager will do Forest a world of good, with him keeping the majority of their squad together and bringing in experienced players in the likes of George Boateng and Matty Derbyshire. They should have enough to make the play-offs.

My Prediction - 4th
