The Championship 2011/12 - Blackpool
Club - Blackpool

Founded - 1887

Nickname The Seasiders / The Tangerines

Ground - Bloomfield Road (Capacity: 16,220)

Manager - Ian Holloway

When we face each other? - Sat 3rd December (A) Sat 24th March (H)

Last Season Finish - 19th - Premier League (Relegated)

Season Preview - Blackpool have spent the majority of the past few season in League One and the Championship.

However, current manager Ian Holloway took over as Blackpool manager in May 2009 and made an immediate impact by getting them promoted to the Premier League for the first time in their history.

Despite a good first half of the season, their form deteriorated and eventually got relegated on the final day of the season.

Despite losing their key man Charlie Adam to Liverpool, they have still kept hold of Ian Holloway, which will be crucial for their promotion push. I still feel they have a chance of getting promoted considering Holloway has built a squad that could compete in the championship if they got relegated.

My Prediction - 6th
