The Championship 2011/12 - Southampton

The Championship 2011/12 - Southampton
Club - Southampton

Founded - 1885

Nickname - The Saints

Ground - St Mary's Stadium (Capacity: 32,689)

Manager - Nigel Adkins

When we face each other? - Sat 22nd October (H) Sat 14th April (A)

Last Season Finish - 2nd - League One - Promoted

Season Preview - Similarly to Leeds, Southampton have had a fall from grace in the past 10 years, partly down to financial troubles in the past few years.

They suffered relegation to the Championship in 2005 and were relegated again in 2009 but did revive themselves in 2011 as they won promotion back to the Championship under Nigel Adkins.

I feel Southampton have more than enough to stay in the division again and have a manager that had good enough experience in this division. They also have some good players in Lalana and Lambert but I feel they need more squad depth to go that one step further.

My Prediction - 12th

Haha, thats debatable mate! Its almost impossible to call the top 15 as anyone of those teams could finish anywhere.

Who Will Reading Face In 2016/17 (3/5/16)

With less than a handful of games remaining in the 2015/16 campaign, some promotions and relegations in the football pyramid are already known.

Reading outclassed by Preston

Reading's last home game of the season ended with defeat and made it 3 home defeats in a row.

Preston came to the Mad Stad and simply were the better side and should've won by more.
