'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Premier League 2012/13 - West Brom

Club: West Bromwich Albion

Founded: 1878

Nickname: The Baggies

Ground: The Hawthorns (Capacity: 26,272)

When we face off: Sat 22nd September (A), Sat 12th January (H)

Last season finish: 10th - Premier League

Manager: Steve Clarke - After several stints as a number two, Clarke finally has his chance to go it alone as a manager/ head coach.

Key player: Shane Long - The former Reading striker has made a good early impact at the Hawthorns, immediately becoming a fan favourite. Workaholic striker with great pace, strength and ability in the air. Was linked with a move back to the Madejski this summer, but the reported bid was rejected.

Season Preview: Many are questioning the Baggies and whether they have made the right call with Steve Clarke and his lack of experience as number one. Unfortunately, I feel the baggies could be dragged into a relegation battle if they do not start the season well enough.
