McDermott eyeing Chelsea wonderkid?

Reading have been linked with a loan move for Chelsea wonderkid Islam Feruz, according to SportsMole.

The 17-year old, who plays as a striker, has received rave reviews from all over the globe for his ever-growing potential. Islam originally started his career at Celtic, before moving onto Chelsea in 2011 for a compensation fee of around £300,000.

Despite being born in Somalia, the youngster qualifies for Scotland and has already represented them at all five youth levels. I'm not sure whether this is what Reading need at the moment, but from what is being said about him, there is no doubt he has a big future in the game.
