Royals linked with 'another' Russian international

Reading are tracking former Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 30-year old is currently back in his homeland of Russia, playing for Lokomotiv Moscow. However, Royals owner Anton Zingarevich could be interested in tempting the Russian international back to the Premier Legaue, with a possible loan deal.

Pavlyuchenko has scored six goals in 20 appearances since his return to Russia, while his countryman Pavel Pogrebnyak has only scored two goals in the Premier League for Reading. There have also been previous reports linking the Berkshire club with fellow Russian Andrei Arshavin.

I think many fans are getting bored of all this speculation, when moves like this are not likely to happen. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't say to him coming here, but is it likely? Not really. It's more the midfield and defence that needs working on in January anyway, not up top.
