Royals tracking Nigeria ace?

Reading are one of many clubs to send scouts to watch Spartak Moscow striker Emmanuel Emenike, according to Sky Sports.

The 25-year old is currently competing for Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations, which has allowed scouts from Liverpool and Arsenal to also observe the impressive forward. Emenike has admitted his intent to play in the Premier League at some point in this career.

To be linked with players of the quality of Emenike, along with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal has really shown how far we have come in the past year. If we can gain stability by staying up this campaign, I wouldn't put it past us to make some very astute signings in the summer, of Emenike's quality.
