Ipswich tracking Royals midfielder

Ipswich tracking Royals midfielder
Reading's Jay Tabb is being tracked by Ipswich Town, according to talkSPORT.

The 29-year old has been told by Brian McDermott that he is surplus to requirements at the Madejski Stadium and would be wiling to let the midfielder go out on loan, in view of a permanent transfer. Mick McCarthy is one of the few managers keen to add the experienced player to his Championship squad.

Tabb turned down a move to Blackburn Rovers two weeks ago, after the Lancashire side were only interested in a loan deal and not a permanent there after. The former Coventry man has made 12 appearances in the league for the Royals, but did not attribute any goals or assists in those games.
