Scout Report - Lawson D'Ath

Scout Report - Lawson D'Ath
With many thanks to Exeter City season ticket holder Chris Penny (@chrismp01), we have asked a few questions about our young, progressing midfield, Lawson D'Ath. He only made a handful of appearances for the Grecians, so thank you to Chris for giving his views, despite seeing very little of him!

--------------------------------------------------------

1) D`Ath has been known primarily as a central midfielder to us Royals fans, where did he primarily play during his loan spell?

He did play in the centre of midfield most of the time for us.

2) What were the strengths that you noticed in him?

His biggest strength is his willingness to drive forward with the ball. He particularly impressed on his debut where he was driving forward the whole game and he ended up scoring a headed goal from inside the 6 yard box. We ended up winning 4-1 and he played a big part in the victory. He doesn't stop running aswell.

3) Did you see any obvious weaknesses that he needs to improve on?

Nothing obvious at this stage.

4) Would you like to see him again in an Exeter shirt next season?

Definitely, he works hard for the team and has a decent attitude on the pitch.

5) A year or two ago, many spoke of his good pedigree, can you see him playing among the top divisions in England in the future?

I see no reason why he cannot push on and play in the top divisions. Good luck to him!
