Royals linked with Slovenian striker



Reading seem to take an interest in tall strikers who have played in the Europa League, as Robert Beric has now been linked.

The Daily Mail is claiming that the Maribor forward could be set to move to the Madejski Stadium, despite reported interest from Premier League sides Stoke and Southampton. The 22-year old has scored 13 goals for the Slovenian champions, in 32 appearances this season.

It appears that Beric is best exploited as a target man, helped by his 6'2 stature, but also looks quite useful with his feet. I'd be surprised if Adkins took a risk on an inexperienced player, but the Slovenian international does seem to have some potential and the physical side needed to compete in England.
