The Championship 2013/14 - Blackpool

The Championship 2013/14 - Blackpool
Club: Blackpool F.C.

Founded: 1887

Nickname: The Seasiders

Ground: Bloomfield Road (Capacity: 17,338)

When we face off: Sat 24th August (A), Tues 28th January (H)

Last season finish: 15th - Championship

Manager: Paul Ince - The former England international took over at Bloomfield Road in February and did a reasonable job. Ince lasts an average 40 games in his managerial tenures, so he will hope his time on the seaside will be slightly longer! The 45-year old still has a lot to learn as a manager, but has shown his potential from his spells at MK Dons.

Key player: Thomas Ince - The 21-year old was linked with a move to the Royals in January, but a transfer didn't materialise. More recently, the managers son has been subject of interest from Cardiff and the newly promoted side had a bid accepted, but Ince opted to reject the offer. He had an impressive previous season, scoring 18 goals, so will want to continue that form into the upcoming campaign.

Season Preview: Keeping Tom Ince will be massive for Blackpool, he could make the difference. Matt Phillips is also another great prospect, but has had his injury problems over the past year. If Ince can add more experience to their squad, Blackpool should be on course to a solid mid-table finish.
