The Championship 2013/14 - Bolton

The Championship 2013/14 - Bolton
Club: Bolton Wanderers

Founded: 1874

Nickname: The Trotters

Ground: Reebok Stadium (Capacity: 28,723)

When we face off: Sat 10th August (H), Sat 18th January (A)

Last season finish: 7th - Championship

Manager: Dougie Freedman - The former Crystal Palace manager raised some eyebrows by moving to up north and despite a slow start with the Trotters, Bolton's end of season form started to show great promise. Freedman is one of the many young managers in the Championship with great potential.

Key player: Stuart Holden - The American international missed the entire 2011/12 campaign and missed the majority of last season and many Bolton fans would argue they missed the central midfielder. It appears Holden is nearing full fitness and Bolton will benefit massively with his creative spark in midfielder.

Season Preview: - Bolton are one of the favourites for promotion this season and deservedly so, after a superb finish to last season, narrowly missing out on the play off places. Bolton's midfield is among one of the best in the division, but could probably do with bolstering their defence - getting rid of Matt Mills would be a good start!
