The Championship 2013/14 - Burnley

The Championship 2013/14 - Burnley
Club: Burnley F.C.

Founded: 1882

Nickname: The Clarets

Ground: Turf Moor (Capacity: 22,546)

When we face off: Sat 5th October (A), Sat 3rd May (H)

Last season finish: 11th - Championship

Manager: Sean Dyche - The former Watford manager entered his second managerial job with Burnley and he has made a steady start. The Clarets made a good start under the Dyche regime, but struggled for wins post-January. However, a good few results at the end of the last campaign, meant Burnley steered well clear of the relegation mess.

Key player: Charlie Austin - It appears that the striker may not be a Burnley player come the end of the transfer window, but if he is, Dyche's side will benefit massively. 28 goals last seasons speaks volumes and his preditary instinct and why some Premier League clubs and top Championship teams are after him.

Season Preview - It's hard to predict where the majority of Championship teams will finish, and the same goes for Burnley. They will want a strong start to the season, as many relegated sides will tell you, it can often be your downfall. Dyche has a decent squad to work with and if he gets the best out of his players, keeps or replaces Charlie Austin, they could even make a play-off push.
