The Championship 2014/15 - Fulham

The Championship 2014/15 - Fulham
Club: Fulham

Founded: 1879

Nickname: The Cottagers

Ground: Craven Cottage (Capacity: 25,700)

When we face off: Sat 13th September (H), Sat 17th January (A)

Last season finish: 19th - Premier League (Relegated)

Manager: Felix Magath - The wiley German could not prevent Fulham from escaping the drop last season, but still feels he has the energy to help them return to the top division once again. I'm surprised he remained at the helm, as he may have lost the passion for the job, but could the sharp discipline finally pay off for the former Bayern Munich manager in the second tier.

Key player: Scott Parker - The former England international is approaching 34, but I'm sure he will still have plenty to offer the Championship. His energy and determination is a perfect match for the Championship and will also prove an experienced head for the younger midfielders of Thomas Eisfeld and Patrick Roberts to develop.

Season Preview: On paper, Fulham probably have the best squad of individual talent in the division, but QPR fans will tell you that it doesn't mean promotion. The signing of McCormack was a very good, albeit it for a crazy amount of money, while they have some very promising youngsters coming through in Patrick Roberts and Moussa Dembele. Fulham's success will depend on how well the likes of Ruiz, Mitroglou and Amorebieta adapt to the Championship, as if they get into the right gear, could do very well.
