Bad luck, end of the day there is a massive difference between championship and premiership and we saw it in second half when we actually performed and you may have beaten burnley but they arnd premiership standard and liverpool was under a bad spell and just didnt want the cup as much as you guys. Really unlucky for you lot but the best team won and you shouldnt feel to downhearted as you came up against pure premiership class.

Tought we matched you for 80 minutes of the game and created more chances, just a crazy 10 minutes after half time. If we had kept it tight, we would have won....

As Burnley found out recently ten minutes of Villa at their best is pretty impossible to defend against. Reading deserved their lead no doubt. They were as good as Villa were poor in the first half, and also responded well after Villa's goal rush. Reading and Palace in the last round have done their clubs proud. Villa will need to play for more than 10 minutes against Chelsea though.

Most definitely a game of two halves. Fortunately for us, our second half was better than your first half. But full credit to you, you should be proud of your team!

Great game from Reading . I'm sure you will stay up and if you play like that all the time will be looking for promotion next season .
